Touring like a swine from hell, Frank’s on tour next week and then he’s on tour again in March. He’s a plinky-plonky folky acoustic touring bad-ass maniac of sensitivity. He’s touring like he’s trying to get it all in while he still can. Maybe he knows something we don’t. See him before the impeding apocalypse which may occur at the end of his latest tour. Turner was once the vocalist for cult band ‘Million Dead’. In 2005, the band split up and Turner went solo. When explaining this decision later, Turner said “I wanted to stay on tour but didn’t want the hassle of putting a band together.” That quote is taken slightly out of context, but that’s okay because it makes him sound like he’s got big, brass musical balls. Which he might have anyway.
Turner will be traveling with support from Fake Problems and Beans on Toast on his tour in October, and you can catch him with as yet unknown support on his tour next year. Both tours may well include songs from his latest album ‘Poetry of the Deed’.
