Chris Farren’s band is so named as they were put together with a no problems, no commitments attitude. Indeed, the Florida foursome tour so regularly that they don’t have time for anything else. They’re touring the UK next April. Click Here to Compare & Buy Fake Problems Tickets
God clearly doesn’t approve of people not creating their own problems, being busy and all, so He created some of His own for the band. Since 2006, they’ve had all their instruments stolen, been arrested for trespassing, court-ordered to take Anger Management classes and had a turkey fly through their windscreen whilst driving. Strapped to the turkey’s leg was a note saying “Make your own problems or I’ll make them for you! Love always, God.”
Fake Problems are known for impressive stage-shows with horn sections for their orchestral songs and for reinventing themselves. The reinvention bit might be down to the sheer variety in their songs. Not one of those bands holding onto a genre for dear life, they have influences from folk to rock to ska and back again via a different route. I was lying about the note on the turkey by the way.
