Back By Popular Demand Squeeze Unveil New UK Tour & Tickets

South London’s favourite sons will return to the stage this winter when Squeeze take to the road for their biggest UK tour in over 10 years!

Inviting fans to their ‘Spot The Difference tour’ sprawling 21 dates across the country, Squeeze will kick off the jaunt in Bournemouth on 14th November and conclude by returning home to play three separate London venues in three days.

Coming to prominence in the late 1970’s Squeeze became a popular fixture of the UK’s music scene over the duration of their 13-album career. Despite splitting in 1998 their music has survived everything over the years, from the ever-changing musical landscapes to their own internal reshuffles and break-ups.

The band have recently been given a prestigious Heritage Award to recognise their work as one of the UK’s legendary music acts. Even though they have scored many hit singles, despite reforming in 2007, Squeeze have so far refused to travel down the well-worn reunion path by trading on their past glories.

Instead they have slowly been bringing back the informal live show that made them such favourites in the first place. Co-founders and ever-presents Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook are joined on this tour by fellow Squeeze favourite John Bentley, with the line-up completed by Glenn's solo band-mates Stephen Large and Simon Hanson.

With hits such as “Cool For Cats” and “Up The Junction” it is no surprise that many of today’s young acts such as Mark Ronson, Razorlight and Kasabian have cited them as a major influence.

Its been said that both Chris and Glenn are hoping to spend the bulk of this summer writing material together for a new Squeeze album next year.
