Having been missing in action for five years, The Fun Lovin’ Criminals must be enjoying their comeback, with the addition of more gig dates to the their September UK visit.
Multi platinum and with four Top Ten albums to their credit, the funk soul brothers Huey, Fast and Frank have been away from the stage and studio having been busy with a bitter legal row with their first manager, who was fired by FLC in 2003.
Returning with new album ‘Classic Fantastic’ the band have definitely got that cool, vibrant feel back in comparison to their shadowy past five years, with the latest record being described by critics as “the first classic party album of the decade”. The album, which was released earlier this year on March 1st, features collaborations with Roots Manuva and Paul Kaye.
Having announced a one-off performance at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire for 17th September, its clear that Fun Lovin’ Criminals are enjoying the vibe of performing again with the addition of some extra dates across the UK.
Currently rolling through venues across the UK supporting their new album, Fun Lovin’ Criminals will return in September, with special guests, hitting three more venues as well as the Shepherds Bush Empire.
Fun Lovin’ Criminals will play the following UK dates:
September 2010
12th The Empire, Middlesborough
14th The Engine Shed, Lincoln
16th Cambridge Junction, Cambridge
17th O2 Shepherds Bush Empire, London
