Bill Bailey Announces Intimate Tour Of North-West England, Scottish Highlands And Islands & Tickets

Troll-shaped comedian and musician Bill Bailey is taking his new live show to the road this Summer, with a tour of remote north-west England, Scottish highlands and islands.
Bill Bailey will perform in some interesting intimate venues, with shows scheduled on the tiny Scottish islands Orkney, Shetland and Skye. The tour, which kicks off at the MacPhail Centre in Ullapool, Scotland, follows his last year critically acclaimed shows ‘Bill Bailey’s Remarkable Guide to the Orchestra.’
Now the brilliant musician, who is also a member of The Society Of Crematorium Organists, returns with his new show which he has described as: ‘ A magical musical mystery tour through a human history filled with doubt, to a place where certainty reigns and where religion, death, egg-custard, twigs, and giant African land snails are here to stay’.
When asked about the random venues scheduled on the tour list, Bill explained: “there’s not much about the world that is simply black and white, apart from pandas maybe and okay, skunks, but that’s about it.” What I assume he is trying to say is that the majority of our world is unknown and this is where Bill Bailey is heading on his next tour.
The British Comedy Award winner has earned his success with terrific stand-up shows as well as starring in cult comedy series ‘Black Books’ and of course a team captain on popular TV music quiz show ‘Never Mind The Buzzcocks’. With a number of successful tours notched up, including his ‘Bewilderness’ performance at the Westbeth Theatre in New York, Bill Bailey is one of the most popular comedians in the world today. His shows have been described as “wonderfully enjoyable … like driving a Rolls-Royce off-road”.
