Bowling For Soup Return To The UK For New Headline Tour & Tickets

American punk pop rockers Bowling For Soup have announced details of an extensive UK tour, rolling through venues across the country in Autumn later this year.

The band’s 2002 single ‘The Girl All The Bad Guys Want’ brought the Texan punks to the big time, having spent a near seven years gigging constantly through their home state.

The tour will see the band headline an eleven-date jaunt with support from Forever The Sickest Kids, The Dollyrots and British rockers A. These gigs will feature the full Bowling For Soup line-up, following the success of BFS members Jaret and Erik’s critically acclaimed UK acoustic tour earlier this year.

The band’s latest album ‘Sorry For Partyin’’ was released last year and Bowling For Soup embarked on a UK headline tour in October 2009. During the last show of 'The Party In Your Pants' tour, a performance at London’s Camden Town Roundhouse closed with frontman Jaret Reddick announcing to the crowd that Bowling For Soup would return to the UK in “The Spring”, hitting the European summer festival circuit and then again returning to the UK for a headline tour in the Autumn.

Now the boys keep their promise with front man Jaret Reddick’s wicked sense of humour and the addition of their tongue-in-cheek covers of Brian Adams, Shaggy and even Nelly, making BFS’s forthcoming UK live shows unique to the rest of the nu-punk crowd.

Bowling For Soup will play the following UK dates:

6th Corn Exchange, Cambridge
7th O2 Academy, Bristol
8th Lemon Grove, Exeter
10th Rock City, Nottingham
11th Guildhall, Southampton

14th Manchester University
