Only two years ago Joshua Radin was a struggling New York painter and screenwriter playing the odd open mic night at his local boozer. Now, a global success story, Joshua Radin announces his biggest tour to date set to hit the UK in October.
Capturing his audience with delicate and heartbreaking songs, Radin’s career took off from the encouragement of friends. Now, being compared to the well respected singer-songwriters such as Nick Drake and Simon & Garfunkle, Joshua Radin has become a huge star both in the states and the UK.
Having achieved huge success with his 2009 album ‘Simple Times, Joshua Radin recently played a sold-out tour of the UK which saw the star play to some massive crowds reinforcing his popularity in the live arena. His final show, at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire saw actors Zach Braff and Kevin Spacey attend.
The next step in Radin’s high-flying career sees the songwriter confirm his biggest tour to date, which will take in a number of diverse festival appearances as well as seeing him take to his biggest stage yet at London’s Roundhouse. The singer will also be releasing his new single ‘Brand New Day’ on 12th July.
Joshua Radin will play the following UK dates:
October 2010
15th ABC, Glasgow
16th Academy, Dublin
17th Academy, Manchester
18th Wulfrun Hall, Wolverhampton
19th Roundhouse, London
