David Baddiel is a comedian born in New York, but raised in North London.
Starting his comedy career in 1984, he co-created The Mary Whitehouse Experience’in 1989, hosted A Stab in the Dark in 1992 and wrote and starred in Newman and Baddiel in Pieces in 1993 with Rob Newman, which led them becoming the first comedians to sell out Wembley Arena. He then went on to present Fantasy Football League in 1998 and Baddiel And Skinner Unplanned in 2000 with Frank Skinner, even gaining a #1 single with football anthem Three Lions. He began writing novels in 1996, and has since had several adult and children's books published. David Baddiel will bring his new show, Jews Don't Count, to Manchester's Lowry for a six-night residency in September 2022.
