Dawn French is a comedian, writer and actress from Holyhead.
Starting her comedy career in 1981, she made her debut television appearance on Channel 4's The Comic Strip Presents the following year, alongside her comedy partner Jennifer Saunders. They also starred in Girls on Top in 1985, before gaining their own sketch shows, French and Saunders in 1987. French then famously went on to star in The Vicar of Dibley in 1994, earning her National Treasure status and a BAFTA Television Fellowship. Dawn French has rescheduled the remaining dates on her Dawn French Is A Tw*t UK Tour to September 2024. She'll be sharing tales of her life, career, and definitely a few embarrassing moments! Words can not describe how incredible this lady is. An emotional roller coaster that has changed my life. I never write reviews. Ever. So this says it all that I had to tell the world how amazing this show is, the second it finished! She's given me confidence, hope and drive to know that I can be and do whatever I want to be. I was not expecting something so funny and significant. If you dont see this show, you haven't lived. So much love for this wonderful lady; dawn french.
