He started his music career in 2000 as a protegé of Jack Johnson, becoming fast friends with their love of surfing and music. Frankenreiter released his debut self-titled album in 2004 through Johnson's Bushfire Records. He followed it up with ‘Move by Yourself’ in 2006, ‘Pass It Around’ in 2008, ‘Glow’ in 2010 and his latest, ‘The Heart’ in 2015. Donavon Frankenreiter is set to play London’s Dingwalls in October, and also has tour dates set across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and the US.
