Eagulls are an English post-punk band from Leeds, consisting of frontman George Mitchell, guitarists Mark Goldsworthy and Liam Matthews, bassist Tom Kelly, and drummer Henry Ruddel.
Formed in 2010, the band would find a lot of press attention thanks to demos and singles like Council Flat Blues and a split disc with Mazes. Eventually signing with Partisan, they unleashed their self-titled debut LP in March 2014. The band released their latest album, ‘Ullages’, in May 2016. They have played shows with bands such as Manic Street Preachers, Flipper, Franz Ferdinand, Ceremony, Iceage, Hot Snakes, and Pulled Apart By Horses, as well as playing SXSW, and CMJ festivals, and making an appearance on Late Show with David Letterman.
