Ennio Morricone was a composer, conductor and musician from Rome, Italy.
Best known for his work on Sergio Leone films, such as The Good, The Bad And The Ugly, he began his music career in 1946 and went on to create critically acclaimed scores for films such as 1986's The Mission, 1987's The Untouchables and The Hateful Eight in 2016, which won him an Academy Award for Best Original Score. He also composed the official theme for the 1978 FIFA World Cup. Ennio Morricone died on July 9, 2020, as a result of injuries sustained during a fall, leaving behind him an incomparable legacy and a catalogue of original scores that will remain in the hearts of film fans all over the world. Ennio Morricone's son, Andrea, will celebrate the music of his father with concerts at London's The O2 and Dublin's 3Arena in November 2022, with a set curated by the late Ennio Morricone himself. Expat living upside down in the land of plenty, Come to Sydney please I just love your music and bring the lady who sings to "The Ecstacy of Gold" I know it's old but it makes my hair stand up... Absolutely Brilliant just can't get good classical music here in Australia.

Ennio Morricone I love your music therefore I would like to have the opportunity of seeing one of you spectacular concerts, as I was unable to do so, up to this point.
