Mrs Brown Live is a stage productions of Brendan O’Carroll’s BAFTA-award-winning BBC sitcom, which has had phenomenal success in the past two years after launching on BBC One in January 2011.
The story of Mrs Brown and her boys originally started back in 1992 on radio, before being converted into a book series and then films - eventually, he would start taking the show on the road for theatre performances. It was these theatre performances which lead to O’Carroll being snapped up Irish television channel RTE One - and subsequently the BBC - to produce a television series. They’re now working on the third series of the popular show but haven’t put a stop to the touring of new Mrs Brown stories every so often. Alongside the release of the first feature length film ‘Mrs Brown’s Boys D’Movie’, the latest production - How Now Mrs Brown Cow - will be hitting UK arenas in 2015, putting on shows at some of the country’s biggest venues, which will include multiple night residencies at places like Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena, London’s O2, and Birmingham’s LG Arena.
