Kodak Black is an American rapper based in Pompano Beach, California. Born in 1997, he would first enter the hip hop world aged just 12, as part of a small group called Brutal Youngnz, but later continued on as a solo act, eventually receiving attention via a video Drake posted, in which he danced to Black's track Skrt.
As well as his collection of singles and mixtapes, Kodak Black put out his first record, 'Painting Pictures', in March 2017, climbing to #3 in the US charts - a feat only surpassed by his August mixtape 'Project Baby 2', which hit #2.
