Landshapes, is a British alternative indie psych rock band from London, consisting of drummer and vocalist, Dan Blackett, guitar player and vocalist, Jemma Freeman, bassist and vocalist, Heloise Tunstall-Behrens and vocalist and ukulele player, Luisa Gerstein.
Previously named Lulu and The Lampshades, the band released their first album, ‘Rambutan’, in 2013, on Bella Union. They have played CMJ, Green Man and End Of The Road festivals. Turnstall-Behrens and Gerstein, are known for their cover version of ‘When I’m Gone’, the 1931 Carter Family song, and were the first to perform it a capella with cups, which went viral on the internet, as well as appearing in the film ‘Pitch Perfect’.
