Lola Young is a singer-songwriter from South East London.
Starting to write songs at 11 years old, by the age of 13 she had beaten out over 9,000 other acts across the country to win Open Mic UK and is a graduate of the prestigious BRIT school, whose alumni includes the likes of Amy Winehouse, Adele, Jessie J and Loyle Carner. She released her debut album 'Intro' in 2019, followed by a handful of EPs and singles. In 2021, she firmly established her name among the most exciting upcoming acts in music, when her cover of Together In Electric Dreams was selected for the John Lewis Christmas Advert. Her second LP, 'My Mind Wanders And Sometimes Leaves Completely', arrived in 2023 and she followed it up with 'This Wasn't Meant For You Anyway' in 2024.
