Moon Duo is an American psychedelic experimental rock band from San Francisco, consisting of Sanae Yamada and Wooden Shjips' 'Erik' Ripley Johnson.
Formed in 2009, the group released their debut album, 'Escape' in 2010, followed by 'Circles' in 2012, and ‘Shadow of the Sun’ in 2015. The band released ‘Occult Architecture Vol. 1’ in February 3, 2017, which they supported with a UK shows in spring of the same year. They followed this up with ‘Occult Architecture Vol. 2’ in May 2017, and then released an expanded edition of their 2010 EP, 'Killing Time', in June. With such a busy year for the band, it won't stop there. Now, Moon Duo have announced a handful of UK shows for early 2018.
