Mt. Joy are an indie-folk band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The band first began when vocalist and guitarists Matt Quinn and Sam Cooper were in high school, playing together casually before reuniting to pursue the project more seriously in 2016. Recruiting a further three members, the band have gone on to release three studio records to date, with the most recent being 2022's 'Orange Blood', and have toured alongside the likes of The Shins, The Lumineers, The Head & The Heart and Whitney. Mt. Joy will hit the UK and Ireland on their European Tour in June 2024, ahead of their biggest North American trek to date throughout the rest of the summer.
