Ricky Martin, real name Enrique Martín Morales, is a Puerto Rican pop singer and actor from San Juan.

Martin started his music career in 1984 as a member of the pop group Menudo. He left in 1989 to pursue a solo career.

He released his self-titled debut Spanish-language album in 1991, which was followed by three more Spanish albums before he crossed over into the English-speaking market with his second self-titled album in 1999. The record hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 200 and contained the worldwide hit single Livin’ La Vida Loca.

He put out his second album, ‘Sound Loaded’ in 2000, followed by ‘Almas del Silencio’ in 2003, and ‘Life’ in 2005, before he took a career break. He returned in 2011 with ‘Música + Alma + Sexo’, then went on to put out ‘A Quien Quiera Escuchar’ in 2015, 'PAUSA (Headphone Mix)' in 2020 and the 'Play' EP in 2022.
