Rival Schools are a post-hardcore band from New York City, New York.
Though the band has earned legendary status in itself, each original member had come from other established bands in the hardcore scene, including Gorilla Biscuits, CIV, Youth of Today and Iceburn. Formed in 1999, they released their debut album 'United By Fate' in 2001, before splitting two years later. They reunited in 2008, dropping a further two albums in the shape of 2011's 'Pedals' and 'Found' in 2013, before disbanding again later that year. In 2022, the band announced their return, and have been going strong ever since. Rival Schools will play a string of headline shows across the UK and Ireland in May 2025, leading up to their support slot for Hundred Reasons at the Royal Albert Hall.
