Roskilde is a music festival held annually in Denmark.
It is one of the largest music festivals in Europe, created in 1971 by two high school students, Mogens Sandfær and Jesper Switzer Møller, along with promoter Carl Fischer. In the past, the festival has seen the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Queens of the Stone Age, Lil Nas X, Blur, Bruno Mars, Eminem, Gorillaz, Khalid, Cardi B, Arcade Fire, Justice, Travis Scott, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Paul McCartney, Disclosure, Muse, Florence and the Machine and many more take to the stage. Roskilde Festival will return in summer 2025 with headliners Stormzy and Olivia Rodrigo, plus Fontaines D.C., Beth Gibbons , Deftones, Jamie xx, A.G. Cook, Lambrini Girls and more.
