Salute - aka Felix Nyajo - is an electronic musician and producer currently based in Manchester, having moved to the UK from Vienna in 2014. His music hosts influences from garage, dubstep and instrumental grime, as well as his Austrian education in classical music. His live performances aim to bridge the gap between looking acoustic but sounding synthetic - appearing on stage with a bassist, drummer and keys.
He has been releasing music since 2015, with a handful of singles and his debut EP, 'Gold Rush'. Since, Salute has released 2016's mini album 'My Heart', and in 2017 the singles Man Down, Light Up, and Lullaby For J, followed by the most recent release, That Girl, featuring Gabrielle Aplin. Salute has worked with many well known names, including D.R.A.M and Liv Dawson, and even having remixed an Alt-J track, Deadcrush, and has found fans in Huw Stephens, Phill Taggart, Flume, Rustie and Caribou.
