A talented football player, he initially aimed to pursue a professional sports career. After he began playing his teammate's acoustic guitar, he found a new passion in music, going on to write tracks for Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban and Reba McEntire. He soon stepped in front of the mic himself, releasing his debut album, 'Montevallo', in 2014, followed by 'Southside' in 2020, which have earned him five Grammy nominations. Sam Hunt will take his Outskirts Tour across the US in spring 2024, with even more North American dates planned for late summer.
