Simian Mobile Disco are an English electronic music duo hailing from London. Formed in 2005 by James Ford and Jas Shaw - both of the band Simian - the pair create a funky and bass-filled plethora of music, an alternative to their indie-rock outfit.
Originally working as DJs, Ford and Shaw would soon find their productions getting signed to some big labels and began sharing their studio time with talented vocalists and musicians. Almost 10 years down the line and they’ve put out four LPs, and #5, ‘Murmurations’, will be released in May 2018.
