Skrillex—real name Sonny Moore—is a DJ, producer and singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, California.
Formerly the vocalist of post-hardcore troupe From First To Last, he first emerged under the Skrillex moniker with 'My Name Is Skrillex' in 2010. Joining the new wave of dubstep producers, he carved a successful niche in the scene and picked up a string of awards while bashing out a prolific string of EPs. Despite the fact, to date, he has only released one full-length album in the shape of 2014's 'Recess', his EPs and singles have earned him eight Grammy Awards and 13 nominations. He has collaborated with some of the most successful artists across many genres, from Justin Bieber to Bring Me The Horizon, from Korn to Rick Ross.
