Soft Play are a punk duo from Tunbridge Wells.
Formed in 2012 under the name Slaves, the band consists of drummer Isaac Holman and guitarist Laurie Vincent, who share vocal duties. They went on to land a nomination for the coveted BBC Sound of 2015 poll, releasing their album 'Are You Satisfied?' the same year, earning them a Mercury Prize nomination. They have since put out a further two LPs, with their fourth studio record 'Heavy Jelly' due to land in July 2024. Soft Play will support their new album with a UK tour in October 2024.
