Songhoy Blues are a blues desert blues band from Bamako, Mali, now based in London, consisting of Aliou Toure, Oumar Toure, Garba Toure and Nathanael Dembele.
Formed in 2012, the band released their debut album, ‘Music in Exile’, in 2015, via Transgressive Records. The group is featured in the documentary, ‘They Will Have To Kill Us First’. The band released their second album, 'Resistance', in June 2017. The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the UK, and have performed at festivals such as Green Man Festival, The Great Escape Festival, Bonnaroo Festival, Latitude Festival, Swn and Roskilde Festival.
