The Replacements are an American punk and rock band hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Originally formed in 1979, they would find a lot of acclaim in their first, '79-'91 run, before eventually calling it a day.
Today consisting of two of its founding members, frontman Paul Westerberg and bassist Tommy Stinson, The Replacements are once again going strong having officially reformed in 2012, even putting out new EP 'Songs for Slim', in support of their former bandmate Slim Dunlap, who had suffered a strong.
