The Union are an English rock band formed by ex-Thunder guitarist Luke Morley and Winterville star Peter Shoulder. Formed in 2009 after the break-up of Thunder, Morley and Winterville teamed up with Chris Childs - also an ex-Thunder member - Down N Outz’s Phil Martini, and drummer David McCluskey - to start a brand new project.
Their eponymous debut album hit shelves in 2010 to very favourable reviews - Classic Rock gave it 9/10 - while it’s follow-up ‘Siren’s Song’ came out late in October 2011 to equally great reviews. Alongside successful UK tour in February 2013, The Union would release their third album 'The World is Yours' - make sure you catch their live return in Preston's 53 Degrees in July 2014.
