Weedeater are a stoner metal band from Wilmington, North Carolina, consisting of Dave ""Dixie"" Collins, Dave ""Shep"" Shepherd and Travis Owen.
Formed in 1998, the band released their debut album, ‘... And Justice for Y'all’, in 2001, followed by ‘Sixteen Tons’. The band then signed to Southern Lord and released ‘God Luck and Good Speed’ in 2007 and ‘Jason... The Dragon’ in 2011. The band’s latest album, ‘Goliathan’, came out in 2015 via Season of Mist.
