Wiley is the stage name of Richard Kylea Cowie, a British grime MC, songwriter and producer from East London.
Starting his musical career in 2004, he has released 13 albums across his career, including his debut album, ‘Treddin' on Thin Ice’, and his latest album ‘Godfather’ in January 2017. His single, Wearing My Rolex, released in May 2008, peaked at #2 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming Wiley’s highest-charting single before his release of Heatwave, which became his first #1 single. Wiley was due to tour the UK throughout summer 2020 as part of Utilita’s Live From The Drive-In concert series, but the whole series has been cancelled by promoters due to fears over potential localised lockdowns in response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
