Johnny Marr is a musician and songwriter from Ardwick, Manchester.
Though he’s perhaps most famous for his time as the co-songwriter of The Smiths, Marr has also worked with Electronic, The The, Modest Mouse and The Cribs. An indie and pop legend, he is highly regarded as one of Britain’s best guitarists and one of the most influential figures of the Britpop scene. His debut solo record, ‘Boomslang', dropped in 2003, followed by a further four studio albums, with the most recent being 'Fever Dreams Pt 1-4' in 2022. Johnny Marr will play a handful of Irish dates in June. That same month, he'll also join forces The Charlatans for co-headline shows in Scarborough and Rugeley, the latter being part of the Forest Live concert series, before headlining Glasgow's Summer Nights in July.
