Kishi Bashi—real name Karou Ishibashi—is a singer-songwriter from Norfolk, Virginia.
Starting his career as a touring musician, with the likes of Regina Spektor and Of Montreal, he formed Jupiter One in 2003, and released three albums with the band before their split in 2013. He went on to pursue a solo career, putting out his debut record, ‘151a’, in 2012. He has put out numerous others since then, and is due to release his new LP, 'Kantos', in August 2024.
