Hermanos Inglesos - Wanderland - (Single Review)

Hermanos Inglesos, are believe it or not, a Belgian group. The brothers, Cedric and Didier Engels have already impressed Europe with their super cool techno and they now look to impress the UK, with the release of this single, Wanderland, on August 23rd and their debut album in autumn.

Wanderland, is an infectious dance track, filled with throbbing bass and techno beats. Swooping over the throbbing techno pulses are wonderfully sensitive synth rhythms and keys, which hypnotise and enchant.

On the radio edit, guest vocalist, MeMe adds to the hedonistic qualities of this awesome dance track, her seductive vocals add heaps of quality to the already fantastic electronic music in the background.

Cool, thumping and luscious, the radio edit, which is the first edition of the track, included on the single, is sure to be a dance floor filler as it pulsates through your body’s senses. This techno/house mash up is steeped with everything a good dance track requires, to clear your mind and draw you to the dance floor.

The clashes remix of the track hits you even harder, right in the pit of your stomach, with the even more intense, thumping beats and deep, effected vocals which come straight from the 90’s. This edition leaves you in little doubt of the techno roots of this group.

The final track, the original, although void of vocals is an electronic music masterpiece, shifting in intensity and tempo throughout. The bass line and drum machine beats intoxicate throughout and the delicate, cascading keys add subtle, melodic breaks to the bowel shaking bass line.

Hermanos Inglesos are a dance music duo, destined for good things, far from commercial, yet very approachable, this single and its remixes, in particular the radio edit, hit you hard in all the right places. With a tour due later this year, the Belgian brothers are sure to impress any crowds lucky enough to see them live.
