The Dears Announce UK Shows To Support New Album 'Degeneration Street' & Tickets

Canadian indie-rockers The Dears have added three UK dates to their touring schedule.

Having churned out a varied back catalogue of prog, motown and punk music, The Dears breakthrough album arrived in 2004 with the release of 'No Cities Left'. Gathering more widespread acclaim along with a growing fanbase, The Dears' new album 'Degeneration Street' is the band's latest bid to break into the mainstream and has been desscribed as their most complete statement to date. Set for release in March, 'Degeneration Street' has been two years in the making.

Armed with new material The Dears have confirmed three UK shows for April. They play live on US television show 'Letterman' later this week before heading to the UK to kick off their mini-tour at London's Borderline on April 19th. Full details of the shows are listed below.

April 2011

19th – London, Borderline
20th – Manchester, Ruby Lounge
21st – Glasgow, King Tuts
