American electronic rockers Innerpartysystem have confirmed details of their new single ‘Not Getting Any Better’, which is due for release on 4th July. The track is taken from their recent EP ‘Never Be Content’, which came out earlier this year. Following their previous additions to the Slam Dunk Festival in Leeds and Hertfordshire, the band can now confirm that they will also be performing at Sonisphere and Wakestock.
Innerpartysystem will be supporting 3oh!3 on tour later this month, followed by their own headlining show at London’s XOYO on 1st June. The follow-up to their eponymous debut album is expected sometime this year. They have spent the first few months of 2011 touring the US with Pendulum.
Speaking about the upcoming shows, drummer Jared Piccone said: “We can't believe it's going to be our third time back to the UK this year already. It's our home away from home. We are also very pleased we get to be a part of a phenomenon that the UK is known for doing the best - the festival season. There's nothing like playing in front of the amount of people you get to at a festival. We cannot wait to be a part of this year’s Sonisphere festival alongside so many great artists, as well as Wakestock and Slam Dunk.”
