Reading band Pete & The Pirates have announced an Autumn UK Tour.
Consisting of Thomas Sanders (vocals), Peter Hefferan (vocals and guitar), David Thorpe (guitar), Peter Cattermoul (bass) and Jonny Sanders (drums), the quintet fuse spidery guitars and hypnotic refrains in a fragile approach to their music.
First hoisting the Jolly Roger in 2008 with the release of their first full length album 'Little Death', Pete & The Pirates have since worked hard at touring throughout the UK and Europe. The band's second album, 'One Thousand Pictures', was released earlier this year in May.
Announcing a tour for September and October, Pete & The Pirates will kick-off their jaunt in Manchester on September 22nd. The trek will take the band to venues in Leeds, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Birmingham, Milton Keynes, Bristol, Brighton and London before a closing show in Belfast on Octopber 8th.
