9/11 Was A Conspiracy, Says Matt Cardle

X-Factor winner Matt Cardle has told the Big Issue that he thinks the 9/11 terrorist attacks, which saw 3000 innocent people killed and 6000 injured, were a government conspiracy.

The apparently paranoid singer was being interviewed by the street magazine, when they asked him whether he felt he’d become a radical following the end of X-Factor, now that he had become a more outspoken star in his own right. He responded by oddly deciding to claim that the notorious terrorist attacks were actually a plot by the George Bush and his government themselves and that “something’s not quite right.”

“Well, there's a lot of conspiracy. I've gotta be careful what I say. The whole 9/11 thing, something's not quite right there. I think the way it was portrayed on TV and who was responsible and the way it happened was not the way it happened.”

He was then asked whether he thought Bush was behind the attacks – to which he apparently nodded in agreement before saying: "It's just not what they say it is.”

“Other conspiracies might be true and the one I believe might also be bullshit. But all I do know is what they're saying is bullshit. From the things I've seen, I don't care what anyone says. To not question it is silly.”
