Hot off the back of a sold-out UK tour, Will Young has announced a string of UK forest concerts for June 2012. Will Young Tickets for his 2012 forest shows are ONSALE 9AM TODAY, Friday 16th December.
Following the release of his Number One platinum album, Will Young has revealed dates for shows in some of the nation’s biggest forests in 2012, as part of the Forestry Commission’s Live Music events. Speaking about the confirmed Summer shows, Will commented: “The forest gigs have a great reputation for their atmosphere so I’m really looking forward to performing my songs in such unique settings.”
Support acts for the June 2012 forest shows are expected to be announced over the coming months.
June 15th - Sherwood Pines Forest, Nr Edwinstone, Notts
June 16th - Thetford Forest, Nr Brandon, Suffolk
June 22nd - Westonbirt Arboretum Nr Tetbury, Glos
June 23rd - Bedgebury Pinetum & Forest, Nr Tunbridge Wells, Kent
June 29th - Dalby Forest, Nr Pickering, N Yorks
June 30th - Cannock Chase Forest, Nr Rugeley, Staffs
July 2012
July 6th - Delamere Forest, Delamere, Cheshire
