As Maximo Park get ready to drop their much anticipated fourth album 'The National Health' on June 11th, the quintet are also just now announcing their first full UK tour in three years, to take place in November. Tickets for Maximo Park are onsale this Friday at 9am.
A recent run of intimate, rapturously received shows saw Maximo Park back in peak form – playing music from their back catalogue as well as previewing incendiary, brand new material from their new album 'The National Health'.
Maximo Park recently unveiled the music video for their new single 'Hips and Lips', released on V2/Cooperative Music on 11th June. In the video for 'Hips and Lips', Maximo Park tackle fan obsession and mania taken to new and often hilarious extremes, with the help of Thomas Turgoose, the talented young British actor who broke through in Shane Meadows’ critically acclaimed film This is England, which netted him the British Independent Film Award for Most Promising Newcomer.
