New Classic Rock And Metal Hammer Owners TeamRock To Launch Ad-Free Digital Radio Station

TeamRock - the company who recently purchased both Classic Rock and Metal Hammer - have announced that they’ll be launching a brand new, ad-free DAB radio station, as they continue to make waves in the music scene.
Arriving in explosive fashion, TeamRock have made it clear that they’re a force to be reckoned with, purchasing the UK’s two biggest rock and metal brands at the same time. Now, they’ve unveiled a brand new station on National Digital One, which will feature a ‘host of presenters, music programmes, and regular documentaries dedicated to specific audiences within the rock genre’.
TeamRock chief executive Billy Anderson said of the station: “Spot advertising on niche radio stations is an outdated model. Instead, the opportunity is much more broad. While TeamRock is a much wider business, radio will play an important role in our development.”
He continued: “This station will be specifically targeted at a community we know is both passionate and valuable. We will name the radio team in due course.”
You’ll have to stay with Stereoboard for more information on the station in the coming weeks, but for now, we at least know that we’ll be getting a brand new, quality rock radio station courtesy of TeamRock.
