It's been 10 years since indie-rockers Franz Ferdinand first stepped into the spotlight, two years since the group were rumoured to have split, yet here they are delivering another new album in the form of 'Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action'. Ahead of its release next week, you can listen to the album in its entirety below.
'Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action', the band's fourth album to date and follow-up to 2009's 'Tonight', is set for release on August 26 via Domino.
The anticipated album was recorded in both frontman Alex Kapranos’ studio in their native Scotland, and guitarist Nick McCarthy’s Sausage Studios in London, as well as at sessions in Oslo and Stockholm.
According to the Domino label: “The 10 songs that make up Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action take what propelled Franz Ferdinand from the incestuous Glasgow Art School world to, well, the entire world – painterly lyrical detail, heavyweight hooks, precise aesthetic vision and that uncanny ability to marry arch artistic sensibility with pop punch – and push it even further.”
Judge for yourself. Listen to the album, in full, here.
