One Direction Return To The Summit Of Stereoboard's Hot Ticket Chart

One Direction have returned to the summit of Stereoboard’s Hot Ticket Chart, with the boyband’s stadium tour now underway and set to wind its way through Manchester, Edinburgh and London.

Culture Club, whose original line up will tour the UK’s arenas later this year, are in second place, with Madness, Eminem and Eagles completing the top five. As summer draws closer, bringing festival season with it, the Isle of Wight Festival returns to the top 10, followed by Paolo Nutini, Pharrell Williams, Ed Sheeran and Parklife Weekender.

Sam Smith, who this week released his debut album, ‘In The Lonely Hour’, is a new entry at 11, with Wireless Festival and Kings of Leon, two more outdoor draws for this summer, either side of Paloma Faith. Rod Stewart and Katy Perry are up next, with Capital FM’s Summertime Ball, which will feature Miley Cyrus, Pharrell and more at Wembley Stadium, in 17th.

Arctic Monkeys, whose attention will soon turn to a series of headline festival slots, are at 18, while Paul Weller and Calling Festival, featuring the legendary Aerosmith and Stevie Wonder, complete this week’s rundown.
