Charlotte Carpenter has released a new song, Electric.
The track has been lifted from her new EP, 'How Are We Ever To Know', which is set to arrive on June 10. Discussing it Carpenter said:
“Electric was born after a show with my band at Simon Says Festival last year. We played De Montfort Hall; one of those venues near to home which I’d always dreamed of playing, and I had this strange out of body experience. We were playing a song from my previous EP, Wasted. Things were louder, bigger than ever before, my heart was racing and it suddenly hit me just how much I was changing as a person and as a musician. It empowered me. I had to question who in my life was coming with me on this journey, and who wasn't.”
