Y Not Festival organisers have announced a new site for 2018.
This year's edition will relocate to Aston Hill Farm, which is adjacent to the previous site on Mouldridge Lane, following the cancellation of last year's festival midway through the weekend due to chaos on site caused by torrential downpours and strong winds. Speaking about the new location, festival organisers said:
"We understand how important it is to keep the public informed every step of the way and so we hope they are reassured by the improvements being made for this year, including our new site at Aston Hill Farm.
"The drive and route to the festival will be exactly the same. The new site allows us to address some of the challenges of the previous site location.
Security will be increased with the operation of CCTV around the site and Showsec will provide additional security across campsites and around the perimeter of the festival. The way staff and volunteers on site are briefed will be reviewed to improve levels of assistance. Festival organisers announced the changes with a post on social media.
Y Not Festival 2018 will take place between July 27 and 29 with tickets expected to be on sale in the coming weeks.
