Slayer have confirmed they will embark on a farewell tour later this year.
The thrash legends confirmed the news with a video posted to social media, featuring a compilation of Slayer tour posters and shots of the band from over the years and soundtracked by their iconic track, Raining Blood. The clip reveals text stating "the end of days is near" and North American dates are incoming.
As of yet, tour dates have not been announced for their final run and there's been no official statement as to why the band are calling it a day.
