Dolly Dimple will feature on his forthcoming sophomore LP, 'HiggledyPiggledy', which is due to arrive on April 13 and follow up 2015's 'Ripe'. Speaking about it, he said:
“With the rise of Trump and Brexit, it feels as if we've returned to a more 'greed is good' or Thatcherite era. More and more people seem to be wanting to get into bed with this mindset.
Dolly Dimple is a song about the pornography of wealth, power and business in place of good family values and looking after one another. All dressed up like an late 70s-early 80s Bowie pop record."
Slug will tour the UK later this month and has also lined up festival sets at Are You Listening? on April 28 and Deershed on July 21.
