Architects will return with a new album this autumn before hitting the road for a European tour, including some huge UK shows.
The metallers have put the finishing touches to the follow up to ‘All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us’, with 'Holy Hell' set to land on November 9 through Epitaph. Head below to stream a video for a new song, Hereafter, courtesy of director Jeb Hardwick.
The LP is the band’s first since the death of founding guitarist Tom Searle, who passed away in 2016. His twin brother, drummer Dan, said: “Ultimately, there were two choices. Feel sorry for yourself and believe the world to be a horrible place and let it defeat you. Or let it inspire us to live the life that Tom would have wanted us to live.
“I was very worried about people taking away a despondent message from the album. I felt a level of responsibility to provide a light at the end of the tunnel for people who are going through terrible experiences.”
In January, Architects have inked in dates at Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse, the O2 Academy Glasgow, Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena and the SSE Arena Wembley in London. Tickets are on sale at 9am on September 14, while Beartooth and Polaris are set to open.
