First Look At Buddy Holly Hologram Revealed Ahead Of Worldwide Arena Tour

A first look at Buddy Holly’s hologram has been revealed ahead of the Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly: Rock’N’Roll Dream Tour.
Focused on the period in which Holly had success with his 1957 hit single Peggy Sue, when he was climbing the charts and wooing audiences across America, the team behind the visuals have kept the rock‘n’roll pioneer as true to life as possible.
Base Hologram, who put on the Roy Orbison In Dreams hologram tour in 2018, stated:
“What people may not have realised is that most of the color shots of him had been retouched over the years and the video is in grainy black & white. What you are going to see here is true Buddy at his finest and exactly how he would have looked if you saw him on tour.
"Our productions are meant to be a tribute to these musical legends and to do that we have to be authentic. The main goal in these types of shows is to preserve the legacy of one-of-a-kind musicians and using their actual master recordings, give fans the chance to see them perform - many for the first time.”
The newly released graphics are a small taste of a much bigger musical experience, complete with a live band, backup singers, dancers, cinematic special effects and remastered audio to celebrate the two legends.
The show will visit Dublin, Belfast, Newcastle, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Hull, Glasgow, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Nottingham, Brighton, Cardiff and London between October 7 and 24. It will also head to Europe and North America. Tickets are on sale now.
