Alice In Chains Frontman William Duvall Announces Acoustic Solo Album 'One Alone'

William Duvall has announced his debut solo album.
The Alice In Chains frontman, normally used to more rock and metal sensibilities, will release the fully acoustic ‘One Alone’ on October 4. Of the record, Duvall noted the need he felt to strip everything back. “This album is strictly one voice, one guitar,” he said. “It reveals the very core of who I am as a singer, guitarist, and songwriter.”
The LP’s first cut, 'Til The Light Guides Me Home, is formed around a delicate and warm guitar pattern, with Duvall showcasing vocal strength in this newfound direction.
